Teacher Mediated Option

The Teacher Mediated Option is an online synchronous high school option for Manitoba students.  Scheduled live classes and study hall sessions with teachers take place using the Google platform, either online or by telephone connection.
Pine Creek School Division has been offering highly successful synchronous remote learning since December 2014.  We have a core group of highly skilled teachers with a rich background in building an approach to learning that allows remote students to experience success and know that they will be supported in learning.
Students have a daily schedule that follows a six day cycle similar to other Manitoba high schools.
Our teachers connect with students daily. They are able to guide and coach online learners through the process of developing the autonomy to be successful in this learning environment.
Our teachers build community through the live scheduled daily connections and through the opportunity for live discussion with peers.
